The subject of Secret Combinations in the Book of Mormon occurs every 1.2 pages of text. There are some 442 verses that, in their context, deal with this topic. In fact, the topic of Secret Combinations is mentioned more than any other subject with the exception of our Savior and His Atonement for us.

In making the record of the Jaredite people and the Secret Combinations among them, Moroni takes some time out to speak directly to us in OUR DAY. Moroni says,

"Wherefore, O ye Gentiles, it is wisdom in God that these things should be shown unto you, that thereby ye may repent of your sins, and suffer not that these murderous combinations shall get above you, which are built up to get power and gain—and … the sword of the justice of the Eternal God shall fall upon you, to your overthrow and destruction if ye shall suffer these things to be."

The Lord said in our day that we have a duty to,

"Waste and wear out our lives in bringing to light all the hidden things of darkness, wherein we know them; and they are truly manifest from heaven— These should then be attended to with great earnestness. Let no man count them as small things; for there is much which lieth in futurity, pertaining to the saints, which depends upon these things."

Finding admissions from members of the conspiracy isn’t very hard either. One such conspirator said of himself and his associates,

“Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as ‘internationalists’ and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure – one world, if you will. If that’s the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it."

To defeat this conspiracy, we must have a proper diagnosis. If you walk into a doctor, and before you tell him what is bothering you, he gives you a prescription, how likely is it to be helpful? A proper diagnosis is essential before selecting a remedy.

If the current president is the root of the problem, then at the end of his term in office, our problem is SOLVED! That also implies that prior to his election, we didn’t have a problem. We’ve clearly had this problem for a long time. Conspirators fear exposure the most, that is why they spend so much effort maligning those exposing the conspiracy.

We must repent of the sin of allowing this conspiracy to be above us.
