What Was the REAL Cause of Starvation Amongst The Pilgrims?

This Thanksgiving learn the truth about what really caused the starvation amongst the Pilgrims and what really turned things around.  Were the Pilgrims a bunch of city folk that needed Indians to teach them how to garden?  Was it that they were a bunch of communists that needed some capitalism in their lives?
